Accompanies 5 p. letter dated Feb. 20, 1869 from Aird to U.S. cavalry officer Benjamin Henry Grierson at Fort Gibson, Okla., describing and comparing various routes. Map and letter form part of Grierson's Papers (Ayer MS 3039 box 5).
